Our Roots

We were founded in 2021, by a group of dedicated Internationally Trained Physicians and Canadian Trained Physicians working to bridge the gap between immigrant physicians' skillsets and expertise and available pathways to integration into the Canadian healthcare system. We were first brought together as a grassroots movement, born out of an overwhelming desire to help Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic, and now we have transformed into ITPC!
